Founder and director of the California Civic Engagement Project (CCEP) at the University of Southern California’s Sol Price School of Public Policy (Sacramento), Mindy Romero's research has focused on political behavior and race/ethnicity, seeking to explain patterns of voting and political under-representation, particularly among youth and communities of color. Her presentation will focus on recent studies and include an update on the Voter’s Choice Act, implementation of the Vote Center Siting Tool and the Power of the Youth Vote initiative.
